Founded by Dr. Pranav Pancholi, a highly respected dermatologist with over two decades of experience, Avané is a pioneer in the field — introducing some of the world's most advanced treatments to Nairobi and East Africa.
Dr. Pancholi is a triple board-certified dermatologist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. After earning her MBChB from the University of Nairobi, he pursued specialised training across three continents — completing a Diploma with Distinction from the University of Liverpool, an International Dermatology Fellowship at Harvard Medical School, a Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University, and a Master's degree in Skin Cancer Surgery from the University of Queensland.
He further distinguished himself as a Diplomat in Age Management Medicine through Cenegenics, making him uniquely qualified to address both the clinical and aesthetic dimensions of skin health and ageing.
With a focus on Dermatology and Venereology treatments, Dr. Pancholi specialises in a wide variety of techniques — from electrosurgery and cryosurgery to ablative CO2 laser therapy and chemosurgery — supported by continuous participation in conferences and training worldwide.
As Special Advisor for Sub-Saharan Africa for the American Board of Laser Surgery and a Key Opinion Leader for Lumenis, Hydrafacial, Sofwave, UltraClear Laser, and IRIS AI & Robotics in Aesthetic Medicine, Dr. Pancholi stands at the forefront of global aesthetic innovation.

A triple board-certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology with over 20 years of clinical experience. Dr. Pancholi has led the first Laser Skin Centre in Nairobi since 2008, pioneering advanced treatments across East Africa.
He serves as Special Advisor for Sub-Saharan Africa for the American Board of Laser Surgery and is a Key Opinion Leader for Lumenis, Hydrafacial, Sofwave, UltraClear Laser, and IRIS AI & Robotics in Aesthetic Medicine.
A published author in leading scientific journals and dermatology textbooks, Dr. Pancholi is frequently invited to speak at international conferences and has received recognition from the International Society of Dermatology.
Dr. Anjali Desouza

With a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Nairobi and a Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetics, Dr. Desouza brings patient-oriented, personalised care to every consultation. Currently pursuing further specialisation in Dermatology from the University of South Wales, her expertise spans from acne treatment to skin cancer, Botox to fillers.
Dr. Paras J. Rathod
MD (Romania), PGDip Dermatology (South Wales), Cert. Aesthetic Medicine
Graduating with distinction from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania, Dr. Rathod holds certifications from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and a Postgraduate Diploma in Dermatology from the University of South Wales. A practicing doctor since 2017 with three years focused on cosmetic dermatology, he brings a multilingual, compassionate approach to patient care.
Dr. Shaban Saidi
MBChB, MMed (Surgery), FCS-ECSA, FPRS (CBE)
A board-certified Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeon with fellowship training from the College of Surgeons of East, Central, and Southern Africa. Dr. Saidi's expertise includes facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, body contouring, liposuction, burn reconstruction, and cleft lip and palate surgery, with advanced training in rhinoplasty from India.
